When Jesus hung on the cross, He died for our salvation. Most Christians know this. What some don’t know is the meaning of the word salvation.
Salvation means “something saved, deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity: – deliverance, health, help (-ing), save, saving (health), welfare, physical deliverance, rescue from danger, (Strongs)
Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we can choose to go to heaven instead of hell when we die. Jesus died for us to be saved (eternal life), but we have to accept that; accept that Jesus died for our sins. Once we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are on our way to heaven.
Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we are already healed. Just like Jesus died for us to be saved and we had to accept that, we also have to accept Him as our Healer. Once we accept Jesus as our Healer, we accept we are already healed. That’s one of the things He died for.
The same is true of prosperity, provision, peace, restoration of relationships, and anything else we need in life. It’s already ours. (John 10:10b)
We actually don’t have to seek or ask for healing. If you’re already healed, you don’t have to ask for something you already have. Like I’ve said before: we are the healed and satan is trying any way he can to steal our healing. Rebuke him, resist him and just thank God you are already healed. You are already delivered.
It may be a fact that sickness symptoms are attacking your body, but it is NOT the Truth. I heard a pastor say just today, “Choose to believe the Truth, not the fact. The Truth WILL change the fact.”
That’s where the scripture, “Fight the good fight of faith” comes in (1 Timothy 6:12a). A good fight is one where we win. The fight is to stand against symptoms and the lies of the devil. The fight is to trust that God’s Word IS Truth. In the face of all the devil’s lies, you fight to hold on to your faith.
How? By reading scripture about healing and listening to faith-building tapes, ministers, podcases, etc. Keep your faith built up. It’s not a once a week or once in awhile thing. If you used your faith, refresh it. It you manifested a healing 25 years ago, you better have re-filled that faith level. Faith doesn’t come by HAVING heard. It’s by HEARING (more than once). (Romans 10:17)

This is so true! Truth vs fact – love that!
Miss Nan,
Thank you – you remind us of what The Word means and does for us, God’s children. And how we can serve the Lord.
Again, thank you, sweet lady.
Ann and John Gay
Thank YOU for your encouraging words. They mean a lot. God is SO good to us and so many Christians don’t even know how good He is!
