Until I did this series, I had really not realized how much God was faithful to Leland’s and my request for God to always ensure we had excellent internet service. I was actually amazed how faithful He continued to be for 19 years.
Writing these stories has made me begin to question what else I’ve missed by not asking. I mean I’ve hear sermons about James 4:2b: “… ye have not, because ye ask not.”
I have learned to ask more since Leland moved. And God has answered miraculously. Example: The miracle behind my first Arkansas rental when my son brought me here after Leland moved to heaven.
I stayed with my son and daughter-in-law (DIL) a couple of weeks when they first brought me back. Before I left Texas, I asked God for a perfect place to live in a perfect area when I got to Arkansas.
One day my DIL came to tell me something amazing. Before they left Arkansas to come to me, she had called a place listed for rent in a small town I liked. The lady said it had already been rented. That one amazing day my DIL got a phone call from the landlady asking if DIL was still interested in the house. The people (landlady knew them) who wanted to rent it never called back, never gave a deposit, just rented another place without telling her.
My DIL said the landlady said I could come see it. It was not only well within my price range (way under what others were renting for), it was a perfect place and location. Benefit, the landlady was a strong Christian. She felt God led her to rent it to me.
God told me two things about this house. One was that the people who committed to rent it were used supernaturally to HOLD it for me. The second was that this was not a “forever” rental (story about that starts here) and His next provision here.

The purpose of this recap is to challenge you to think BIG, ask God for seemingly impossible things, remember *NOTHING is impossible for Him, and believe God will answer.
