GRACE: Strong’s Concordance meaning – properly: to bend or stoop in kindness to an inferior; to favor (someone). It is God’s unmerited, undeserved favor on our lives. It also means graciousness, of manner or act. To be gracious, considerate; to show favor. God bends down in kindness, to grant us favor*.
Christianity is the story of how God reached down to mankind out of His great love.
The GRACE portion of the magazine will describe what God’s grace means to us today, how God shows His grace toward us, and how good He is toward us!
ELEGANCE: One of the meanings of this word is “the quality of being graceful and stylish in appearance or manner; style.” This works well with the meaning of the word GRACE – to be gracious, considerate; to show favor.
In the magazine I want to show how God’s people are to be gracious toward others. To walk in elegance, male or female, means we walk differently than the world people do.
Too many times, elegance is relegated to wealthy WORLD people. Oftentimes this is because Christians don’t realize how much God wants to provide great wealth for us. He wants us to represent Him as Ambassadors here on earth. The old poor-me, I’m serving God in humility by being poor needs to go.
God wants us wealthy so that we are able to impact this world for Him. We are to to represent our Father as Ambassador’s in this world. We do not represent Him well by being poor. I plan to take you on a journey to help you elevate your faith to believe God for more.
More everything means helping more people. That is my entire thrust – helping others find out our God is a GOOD God.
We need to show the world that as Christians, we are different. By walking in the favor of God, we are supposed to be and have BETTER than the world people and walk in a better Kingdom (system).
There will be articles for men, but the main thrust is for women.
Shopping Guides will help you find elegant items for yourself and your home. The price range will offer a high end product and its less expensive counterpart. This is not going to be a place for cheeseparing ways. It’s time for God’s people to represent Him in wealth, integrity, honor, grace, and elegance!
