Anti-Fear Scriptures

Start meditating upon and speaking these scriptures to defeat fear for good:

–Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT – Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.

–Isaiah 41:10, AMPC – Fear not! There is nothing to fear! For I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My (victorious) right hand of rightness and justice 

–Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.   

–Isaiah 41:13, NKJV – For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ 

–Psalm 27:1 NLT – The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid?  The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? 

Psalm 55:22 NLT – Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. 

–Psalm 103:1-22 – Forget not His benefits – listed in all these verses

–Psalm 118:6, NKJV – The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? 

–Proverbs 29:25, NKJV – The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. 

–Mark 5:36, NKJV – Do not be afraid; only believe. 

–Luke 10:19 YLT – … lo, I give to you the authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and on all the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall hurt you;

1 Corinthians 5:57  But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

–2 Corinthians 2:14  Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ… 

–Philippians 4:6 NLT – Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything.  

–2 Timothy 1:7, NKJV – For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 

–Heb 13:5b AMPC  …for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

–1 John 4:18, NKJV There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.  (i.e., trusting God’s love for us)

1 John 5:4  For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

–Revelation 1:17, NKJV – He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, ‘Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.’
