You know, I could have told them this with the exception that the number should state 120. While there may not be a literal Fountain of Youth, it is one of the benefits of grace and God – He gives us long life (and renews our youth & strength).

♥Genesis 6:3 states man’s years are one-hundred twenty – 120.
♥Exodus 20:12  Honoring your parents leads to long life.  This is the first scripture with a promise attached to it.  
♥Psalms 91:16 says that long life is ours. Being satisfied means we get to choose how long it is – through the words of our mouth and what we choose to believe!
♥Proverbs 3:16 says that seeking the wisdom of God is a good thing because…”Long life is in her (Wisdom’s) right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.”

God promised us long life.  There may be a few conditions to that long life – walking in love, staying out of strife, and things like that – but we have His promise.  Choose to believe!

GRACE AND TEA

Today I want to introduce you to Lapsang Souchong sometimes referred to as smoked tea. If you haven’t, you really must try this amazing smokey black tea. It’s not a strong smoke flavor but is just enough to tantalize your taste buds with that surprising flavor you don’t expect from a cup of tea.

The story goes that the tea was created during the Qing era when the passage of armies delayed the annual drying of the tea leaves in the Wuyi Mountain. Eager to satisfy demand, the tea producers sped up the process by drying the leaves over fires made from local pines.  Yum yum!

You can find it from both your local tea source and  online from many retailers. I have tasted both Taylors of Harrogate and Harney & Sons, and like them both.
