39 years ago on Labor Day, I labored (smile). A 7 pound baby boy came into this earth to bless me (my parents and his father).

He was raised to be a hard worker. He has been one all his life.

He loved his grands and learned how to jog and have fun. 

He loves birthdays. His gram made a huge deal out them.

He is always full of gratitude, even for the smallest thing.

He learned how to be a godly and honorable man from his dad. He even learned how to NOT lose a wallet.

When his dad moved to heaven in April of this year, everything that had been put in him from birth until today, came out in full force.

This is what is manifesting in MY life because of what has been put in him:

Proverbs 22:6 (TPT)  Dedicate your children to God and point them in the way that they should go, and the values they’ve learned from you will be with them for life. 

He became a strength and helper to keep me on the healing road. He kept me from falling down and screaming because the love of my life is in heaven. He has worked diligently to help me move and set up a new home.

He became my slave (smile) by stopping by and doing anything I wasn’t able to – especially tall people things (I’m not tall). He has spouted scripture to me and reminded me that God has me in the palm of His hand.

He first said to me after Leland died, “Mom, dad would want me to take care of you. To help you. To be there for you. I want him to look down and be proud of me.”

I lost my partner in the Lord. He was the one I bounced ideas off of. Shared new insight with. Said to, “Guess what God showed me??!!”

But because of the strength of character of this man – even though he’s still my baby – I did not lose. The best of his father and Father is coming out in him now.

I get the benefit of Proverbs 22:6
