Back in the beginning of 2024, the enemy attacked my mind. God told me how to deal with it. The problems stopped almost immediately. This is all explained in the original post.

When the attack came, God reminded me of 1 Corinthians 2:16b: “… we have the mind of Christ.”

We have access to His wisdom, knowledge and how He thinks and responds to any given situation. We don’t have to lose our minds because Jesus won’t lose His, and we have His (but only if we believe it, accept it, and apply it (speak it).

So once I began obeying God, reminding the devil that “I have the mind of Christ and remember everything I need to”, the words, names, memory, etc., came back almost immediately, every single time. Sometimes it surprised me how quickly it came.

Even if it took a minute or two, it would always pop into my mind. I thank the Holy Spirit every time. Most importantly, I now have less and less attacks. 

If I suddenly couldn’t remember what I was looking for (which doesn’t happen often), I’d repeat the scripture and phrase, and the Holy Spirit reminds me. Sometimes I’d suddenly come across it and go, “OH! That’s what I was looking for! Thank you Holy Spirit.”

It’s been almost a year since the devil tried to attack my mind. My mind and memory are healed.  Occasionally the enemy still tries. Every time I’m prepared with God’s Word.

I will keep speaking His Word over my mind. I am so blessed God told me so quickly what to do. I have a friend who’s dealing with this problem but doesn’t throw God’s Word at the devil. She still makes jokes. She’s getting worse.

God’s Word works every time. You do have to apply it (by speaking it). To quote a famous movie line, “NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER SURRENDER.” You have already won through the Blood of Jesus. The devil? He’s already lost.
