My pastor, Keith Moore, Faith Life Church, made some vital points today. I’m going to share some of the scripture he gave. 

Romans 8:32 – He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 

If God didn’t spare Jesus – THE most important thing – a big house or nice car is minor for Him. Anything we could need, want or desire after that is chump change to God.

1 Timothy 6:17 – Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, Who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Obviously God doesn’t have a problem with us being rich. We just aren’t supposed to trust those riches. Trust only in God.

James 1:17 – (NKJV) – Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with Whom there is no variation or shadow of turning (never changes).

God only gives good gifts. There is no bad in Heaven. God can’t bring bad into your life. Only the enemy, satan (John 10:10),

Micah 7:18 – (AMPC) – Who is a God like You… because He delights in mercy and loving-kindness. 

Jesus had to be received for you to be “saved or born again” (John 1:12).  God delights in mercy, favor, kindness, giving.  Will you receive? 

As my pastor said today, the same way you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you receive the money to pay your bills. It’s the same way you receive healing for your body. It’s the same way you receive help with your marriage, your kids, or on the job.

He gave you Jesus. You believed on Jesus and received Him.

God has already given you everything you need and want in this life. Believe that and be a Receiver!
