Do you know it doesn’t do much good to ask God for something He didn’t say? Or to ask for something He has already said is yours?
If you ask God to give you peace, He can’t (well, I’m sure He can). Why? John 14:27
“I leave the gift of peace with you—My (Jesus’) peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but My perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!”
God has already given you peace through Jesus. You just have to appropriate it. Believe it. Receive it.
You don’t have to ask Him to heal you. Isaiah 53:5 states that “by His stripes (beatings, whip marks) you ARE healed”. Then 1 Peter 2:24 is past tense – He’s already come and died to heal you. By those stripes you WERE healed.
There are so many more instances where Jesus died to already give you everything God promised you. You just have to know His Word (Bible) to learn everything.
So how do you deal with this? Find a scripture to stand on.
Yes, it is ok to get in a prayer line for prayer (or have others pray for you). But it’s best to go for prayer when you can leave that prayer line in faith. Leave believing you have what you asked for prayer for.
If you want to believe on your own, just thank Him for what you BELIEVE He has provided. Something like:
“Devil, I rebuke you for this attack (on my body, health, finances, trying to give me fear, etc.) from you. You are a liar.
“Father, I see the Truth in your Word that You have already (healed, provided, told me to fear not, protected, etc.) me (and mine). I believe it and I stand on that Word. Thank You for my deliverance from _______. Thank You I AM already free from _______!”
Then if you think about it, just thank Him for it. “Hey devil, it’s too late. I’m already healed of that! Thank You, God!”
Still questioning it? Get back into your Bible until you know that you know that you know.
THEN? Stand. Stand on His promise until that promise manifests. Believe you have it before you see it because you believe His word to you is good. His promise is true.
Ephesians 6:14 (NKJ) Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness…
Never act like you doubt His promise by speaking symptoms (sickness, disease, poverty, lack, etc). Never speak against what HE says. ALWAYS speak faith (or get back into the Bible to refresh your faith).

Eph 6:13 (MSG) Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet.
Eph 6:14-17 Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon.
