3 John 1:2 – Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. 

I heard someone the other day say that God didn’t write the Bible – man did. If man wrote the Bible – man is fallible. Since man is fallible, the Bible has to be full of mistakes. 

Huh? What are we going to do with 2 Timothy 3:16: ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God…

So in our scripture above, 3 John 1:2, we can be sure that it is God’s desire – His heart – for us. He wants us to prosper and be in health.

So during prayer, I asked the Holy Spirit why I had a sickness, issue, problem, an attack that had hung around for so long. Our scripture above was the answer He gave me. Suddenly all the Word-based podcasts I watched mentioned that, too.

Low Word Level. Your soul prospering is to be full of God’s Word (i.e., read my Bible more.) The Bible is God talking to us through the written word. Read it and it gets easier to “hear” Him talking to us. It’s really easier to recognize when someone says something NOT in the Bible or that God would never say.

I didn’t know what to read so I asked – “Read a Chapter a day, one from Psalms and one from Proverbs.”  I remember thinking, “How is that going to help me with healing?” Especially when I got to the part about staying away from the adulteress?!

I joke but honestly? Just reading my Bible daily and faithfully has changed everything. Places I had pain before? Almost two (2) years of pain, almost gone. Other areas have totally cleared up, healed. 

Why? My soul began to prosper (get full of God’s Word).

I’m expecting to financially prosper next!

So next time it seems healing is slow to manifest or non-existent = check your Word Level.
