LIDT – What You Say IS Vital

I once read a story about a neurosurgeon who treated people by using Word Therapy. He had his patients do what he called mental exercises for fifteen minutes a day.

Someone with high blood pressure was to say, “My blood pressure is one hundred twenty over eighty” for fifteen minutes every day. A person with sugar diabetes was to say for fifteen minutes a day, “My pancreas secretes sufficient insulin for this body.”

This doctor reports that whether or not the patient understood what he is saying made no difference; or a patient did not have to know what his pancreas is or does. the Spirit (and body) knows and will obey his/her voice. He said he didn’t know how it worked, but it did. (We know it was Mark 11:23).

Your Spirit continually produces what you speak. That might be why some bad things happened in your life. Say things like, “Man, trouble seems to follow me everywhere I go!” and you’ll reap trouble, all the time.

How important are your words in times of trouble?  VERY.

When times of trouble and danger come, what you say under pressure is one of the most vital ways to keep your life going in the right direction – or not.  Do you confess what you see around you – bad economy, lost business, lay offs, grocery prices going sky high, pandemic fear, election fraud?

Or do you confess what God’s Word says such as, “God supplies everything I need, over and above all I can ask or think.  I don’t care of bread gets to $10 a loaf.  If it does, God will provide me $11 so I can buy a loaf of bread and tithe, too!”

Find the scriptures you need for whatever you are facing then begin some Word Therapy today. Confess what you want 15 minutes a day (or more if you want to) until you see a change in what you are facing.  You have His Word that nothing is impossible with God so be bold!

I will write up several scriptures for you and send another post with those scriptures.

  1. That is really good evidence. Also, the scripture tells us over and over not to fear. So I choose to speak what the word says. I will not fear for God has me.
