I’m going to come back to the Prosperity and Pleasures series later. I found some lost devotionals from 2007 to 2013 due to a computer crash. My email marketing service provider actually had them saved on their site. Since I’d been told nothing was ever saved there, I call this a huge miracle. It’s over 100 devotionals.
I’m saying this because recently the internet has been scatty in this motel and I’m having trouble posting Musings. I am going to pull out some of the older ones that I haven’t reworked over the years. You will know because the date will be in the title.
I really enjoyed re-reading some of them because I’d totally forgotten them. I hope you will like them, too. I am probably going to set these up to auto-post until I have more stable internet.

(Mr. Sumrall speaking) Recently in prayer, the Lord spoke to me and asked, “Do you have dominion?”
I replied, “Yes, Lord.”
“Then look like it!” He said.
Your appearance must not be sad, depressed, or defeated.
Again the Lord asked, “Do you have dominion?”
I replied, “Yes, Lord.”
He said, “Then talk like it!”
Your speech reveals either dominion or defeat.
Again the Lord asked, “Do you have dominion?”
I replied, “Yes, Lord.”
“Then walk like it!” He said.
Keep your shoulders high and walk with victory in every step!

The original Biblical meaning of the word dominion means: to tread down, (to) subjugate; (come to, make to) have dominion, prevail against, to reign, make to rule; to rule over, to take. This is what God says we are to do to our enemies (the devil and everything he stands for John 10:10a)
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen_1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over…
Psa_8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
Dominion! I need to keep that in mind.
