One thing I’ve learned is how few people actually know what the Bible says or don’t actually believe what they read. Many people miss out on God’s blessings and ways of doing things because of that. Or they don’t believe He means what He says.
Take Proverbs 4:20-27 –
My son, attend to My words (pay attention); incline (submit) thine ear unto My sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
For they are life unto those that find them, and health (and healing) to all their flesh (their whole being)
Keep (guard} thy heart with all diligence (guard carefully what you see and hear); for out of it are the issues of life (It determines the course of your life)
Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. (Keep crooked speech out of your mouth, banish deceit from your lips)
Let thine eyes look right on (AMPC says “with fixed purpose“), and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established (in God’s ways)
Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. (NLT says- Don’t get sidetracked; … Stay focused!
Perverse is doubt and unbelief. Keep faith in your mouth.
Froward – False, crooked, twisted (opposite of what God says)
This is just some Wisdom from God that is part of receiving your health and healing. For your life to go right,
I remember when I started having physical problems earlier this year. I heard a minister make a wise. helpful statement.
He said, “Check your Word level. Have you been reading your Bible faithfully? Doing what He said to do in Proverbs 4:20-22 = pay attention to His words. His sayings. Are you remembering His Word?
Are you keeping full of His Word because: “… (His words) are life unto those that find them, and health (and healing) to their whole being?“
I realized I wasn’t reading as much Word as I should have been. Fixing that took care of things! I am the healed..
These Proverbs 4 verses are chock full of how-tos. Full of Wisdom – it is the principal (main) thing; therefore get Wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7
