It used to be that the oldest seeds found on earth were about 2000 years old. In 2012 scientists found seeds in Russia that were 32,000 years old – AND STILL VIABLE. They grew flowers.
When you give to the Kingdom of God such as finances through your local church, other ministries, in the Christmas buckets, God calls that a SEED. Or like I’ve been doing lately, by donating items to local shelters, Goodwill, etc., same thing. If you believe God, you have what He calls “seed in the ground”.
In one parable, Jesus likens the Kingdom of Heaven/God (not heaven but how God operates) to farmers, planting seed, and harvesting that seed. Giving and receiving, planting “seeds” and receiving a “harvest” – these are ways God operates.
You can’t give to God without Him blessing you back. When you have “seed” in the ground, don’t dig it up by saying, “I never get a harvest (or return) on my money” or “I never get blessed.” One way you “water” your “seed” is by speaking right words over that seed. EXPECT a harvest, no matter how long it seems to take.
The other day God reminded me that Leland was always giving offerings (and our tithe) and had “seed in the ground” that he hadn’t “harvested” yet. He also reminded me that before we left Arkansas, we gave away many household items such as a china cabinet, vintage china, a treadmill, and other furniture. He told me to begin calling that harvest in.
If you have given, you have a right to expect a return, a harvest, on that giving, that seed. I don’t care how long ago it was, like the 32,000 year old world seed – your financial or other seed is still viable. Call your harvest in!
You can say, “God, I have seed in the ground. I am calling it forth now, in Jesus Name. Harvest! Come to me, now!” I also have a right to Leland’s “seed” – or my parents’, who were mega givers – I have a right to whatever harvest they left when they died. I’m calling it in!!

Matthew 13:24 “…. The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field.”
2 Corinthians 9:10, “Now He that supplies seed to the sower and bread for eating, may He supply and multiply your seed…” Study it out. God will even provide you “seed”.
2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”
Luke 6:38 “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again”
I needed this today!! Thank you!!
