Years ago, I heard about GIGO. It actually originated in 1957! Who knew they had computers back then? I believe electronic computers were created in 1946 (not for the public)!

“GIGO stands for ‘Garbage In, Garbage Out.’ It’s a principle in computing that the quality of the output is directly dependent on the quality of the input. If you put flawed or poor-quality information into a system, the result will be flawed or poor-quality as well.” 

Hmmm doesn’t that sound like something God would say? 

Yep. He said in Romans 10:17 that “Faith comes by hearing (reading or putting in) the Word of God“. It stands to reason that not having faith comes by NOT reading the Bible. He’s says throughout the Bible that what we put in our Spirit will affect our life (like the post recently written about Mark 11:23-26).

So what are we putting in our Spirit? The secular news? FB gossip? YT podcasts by angry or secular people? Looking up all the symptoms of what illness some doctor said you might or do have? People who call themselves “preachers” but don’t use God’s Bible or do use one of the new modified bibles that leave out vital scriptures? Then they are only preaching garbage and not the legitimate Word of God?

Let’s take “Looking up all the symptoms of illness”. I can talk about that because I was guilty of it. Notice I said “was”!

We can fill ourselves with so much knowledge of the symptoms that we forget what God’s Word says. We say, “Oh I have ‘Ick Ick’ and talk very knowledgably about “Ick Ick” constantly.

We forget the knowledge, “I am the God who heals you (Exodus 15:26b)” or 1 Peter 2:24b, “… by His (Jesus) wounds we were healed.” And so many more scriptures.

GOD’S Words are what we should consistently be speaking. God’s Words not the devil’s words. God’s Words bring life and healing. Ick Ick will make or keep you sick sick. 

Speak His Words and we won’t manifest Ick Ick. Ick Ick can  stop or slow down the process of God’s healing power. Oh, it may feel like it isn’t working but we don’t go by feelings. We go by God’s Word.
