Jeremiah 29:11 – (KJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
The word “thoughts” in this case means “intentions, purpose, or plans’. A few translations of that King James verse, to help you understand what this verse is saying:
(CEV) I will bless you with a future filled with hope – a future of success, not of suffering.
(LITV) For I know the purposes which I am planning for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace, and not for evil; to give you posterity and a hope.
(GNB) I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.

As with anything with God, you have to believe. God has a plan for all of us. ALL. He has always had a plan for all of us. He has a plan even if we didn’t know He has a plan. He has a plan even if we haven’t figured it out yet. Even if we don’t feel worthy. Even if we have lived lives opposite of knowing or serving Him.
God IS your road to all success. Just ask Him to show you what it is – He will! He WANTS you walking in His Plan for your life. He knows His plan will fulfill us, protect us. keep us, and so much more. No matter where we are, trust Him. He will make all the wrong we feel is unforgivable, turn around.
He has plans to prosper us and to enable us to live the good life He talks about in the Bible. BUT, as with so many of His promises, there are things we have to do. First be saved so HE can show you. Walk in love toward our fellow man (yikes), forgiving quickly (He will help you), spending time in the Bible, praying in the Spirit (often called “tongues” which just means an unknown (to us) language.
Then there is “meditating” (which can be as simple as thinking about a specific scripture and what it means to you or listening to a teaching over and over until we “get it”, or reading faith-based books. One really important thing is to meet with God in a quiet place and just sit and LISTEN with a pen and notebook, then write down everything you “hear” (or seemingly think) no matter what it is. He will straighten it out for you – what is Him and what isn’t. Listening and knowing His voice will get easier.
That’s all for now!
