I read something the other day. I thought it was perfect for these posts about living in dangerous times.
There are so many scriptures that begin, “I AM…” then something like, “…the Lord that healeth thee.” A few others:
>Do not fear, for I AM with you;
>I AM the Lord, I have called you in righteousness, I will also hold you by the hand and watch over you;
>I especially like this one, “I AM the LORD, I change not”
The author made a point, “God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). If He wasn’t, then we would have to say, ‘He WAS the Lord that healeth thee.'”*
The Great I AM is our provider, our protection, our safety, our redeemer, our healer, our God who sees us. Basically, He is OUR EVERYTHING.
If we don’t know who God is in these times we live in, we might tend to think we are all alone out here in this world. We are NOT alone. We have the Great I AM on our side.
If we will study and learn all that God is to us, all He wants to do for us, we can walk securely in the times ahead knowing that He loves us. He wants to give us everything He is.
Take, for instance, Jehovah Nissi. It is just one of His names – this is a name that proclaims God’s declaration and promise to always protect His children. Look up others (Google it).
I am His child and He loves me unconditionally. Because of that, I am in line for all that the Great I AM is for and to me. Get to know Him – He loves you, too!

SO amazing that the Great I Am is with us, and for us, and around us, and in us! Hallelujah!
Glory to a forever faithful God!
