Prosper in Whatever and Wherever

Psalm 1:1-3 NKJV

v 1  Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
v 2  But his delight is in the Law (scripture) of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.
v 3  He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

Joshua 1:7-9 NKJV

v 7  Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses (gotten from God) My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
v 8  This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

v 9  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

All throughout the Bible it talks about prospering, doing well, having our needs met, and many other like scriptures. Yet so many of us are living below what God prepared just for us.

Want to know why? The above scriptures tell us – yes, God will be with us wherever we go. Yes, we can prosper wherever we go. Yes, whatever we do can prosper. Whatever and wherever.

We jump on the prospering in wherever we go and in whatever we do. We neglect the important parts of those verses.

…in His law (scripture) he meditates day and night.
…observe to do according to all the law (scripture)
…shall not depart from your mouth (say only what God says); think on what we read and say; then DO it
WHY?
Then we will make our way prosperous and then we will have good success

When God’s Word is a part in our everyday lives, when we live by those principles, THEN and only then what the Bible promises will come to pass in our lives. The Amplified Bible says of the last portion of Joshua 1:8 that, “when you meditate on God’s Word, you will be able to deal wisely in the affairs of life”.

You can’t have one without the other. Word THEN manifestation.

So if we struggle with prospering in our lives, if we constantly battle health problems, if we keep messing up, or things go wrong a lot, we need to check our Word level. Like a car without fuel, if we don’t fill our spiritual tanks with plenty of Word, we go nowhere. We will not prosper in every area of our life.

Put God first.
